Bin Huang and Daniela Mineva have played together for 20 years and in 2024 their last CD with French violin - piano sonatas has been released under NCPA classics. Bin Huang, an esteemed violinist, gained international acclaim at age fourteen by winning the Junior Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poland. She further solidified her reputation by triumphing in the Paganini International Violin Competition in Italy and the Munich International Music Competition in Germany. Universally praised for her interpretive prowess and technical finesse, Huang holds the esteemed positions of Distinguished Professor of Violin at the China Conservatory of Music and Chair of the Orchestral Instrument Department. Meanwhile, Daniela Mineva, a dynamic pianist has garnered recognition for her vibrant performances across five continents. A dedicated advocate of contemporary music, Mineva has collaborated with prominent composers worldwide. She continues to champion new works and has premiered compositions by notable figures such as Alexandra Fol and Michael Colina. Additionally, Mineva is a committed educator, having taught at institutions including Concordia University and Eastman School of Music, before joining the faculty at Cal Poly Humboldt in 2009.
